Unclaimed winning lotto ticket in Jackson County
A winning Mega Money ticket purchased at Panhandle Package in Campbellton, Fla., was unclaimed as of press time.
The winning numbers were 30, 41, 42, 43 MB 9. The winning numbers were drawn on Jan. 10.
The customer bought the $1 quick-pick ticket a t 3:27 p.m. Jan. 10, said Marguerite Martin, a Public Affairs Specialist at the Florida Lottery. Panhandle Package is located on the Alabama-Florida line at 5837 U.S. 231.
The jackpot is $1.8 million. If the winner chooses to receive the money in an annuity, the annual payments for 20 years will be $90,000. If he or she chooses a onetime lump-sum payment, they will receive $1,449,114.30.
Martin said all prizes have to be claimed within 180 days of the draw date. If the winner wants to receive their winnings as a onetime lump-sum payment, the prize must be claimed within 60 days.
To receive their prize, the winner will need to bring their ticket to the Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
Panhandle Package will receive a $1 , 000 bonus for selling the winning jackpot ticket.
